1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Cash Pocket web application and our Android and iOS mobile apps, and related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms are between you and Cash Pocket; they are not made with Google or Apple.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Cash Pocket, you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with the usage rules of the app store from which you obtained the app.

3. Accounts & security

• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• If you invite team members, you are responsible for the roles and access you grant them.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or resell any part of the Service except as permitted by law or the applicable app-store usage rules.

5. Your data & responsibility

You retain ownership of the data you enter into Cash Pocket. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your financial records and for complying with applicable accounting, tax, and legal obligations. Cash Pocket is a record-keeping tool and does not provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice.

6. Pricing, payments & app stores

Cash Pocket is currently provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other fees in the app or web service at this time. We may introduce optional paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give advance notice and update these Terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy accordingly.

If paid plans are later offered and purchased through an app store, billing would be processed by that store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and subject to the store’s terms. Any future subscriptions would renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you would be able to manage or cancel them in your Google Play or Apple ID account settings.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access.

8. Intellectual property & licence

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Cash Pocket and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and the applicable app-store usage rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices that you own or control, solely for your own internal business or personal use.

9. App store terms

If you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following additional terms apply. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the applicable store’s terms in respect of your use of the app obtained from that store, the store’s terms govern to the extent of the conflict.

9.1 Apple App Store (iOS)

• Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Cash Pocket only, and not with Apple. Cash Pocket, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for the app is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Maintenance and support. Cash Pocket is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
• Warranty. Cash Pocket is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Product claims. Cash Pocket, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party’s intellectual property rights, Cash Pocket, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
• Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims regarding the app should be directed to Cash Pocket at support@cashpocket.in, [insert registered business name and postal address].
• Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

9.2 Google Play (Android)

Your download and use of the app from Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app. Cash Pocket, not Google, is solely responsible for the app, its content, and any support, warranties, and claims relating to it, to the extent described in these Terms.

10. Account deletion & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm to us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cash Pocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts at [insert city], India shall have jurisdiction, except where the applicable app store’s terms or mandatory local consumer-protection law provide otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date above indicates the latest revision.
